I want to get a grant to provide quality and affordable supportive housing to women that are victims of domestic violence, who have been forced to flee their homes and rendered homeless. I want to help restore these women by first, getting them off of the streets, perserving their dignity and getting them into not just a shelter, but a house that they can learn to call home. Next, I want to teach them to set goals, learn life skills, and establish some type of faith-based spiritual accountability.
